The Side Obturator "End Sealing"

The Side Obturator "End Sealing", is the seal on the side of the ink tank of the Flexographic Printer Closed-Chamber System.

The Side Obturator "End Sealing", must have a macromolecular structure and be highly resilient to recover its original shape when the effort is released, as it is an organic material easily deformable by plasticity under pressure and temperature.

It is the part that prevents the ink from spilling out of the chamber, the part that closes the chamber and keeps the inks closed in.

It is fitted at either end of the chamber's ink tank on guides that keep it firmly in place, and holds Brushes, Doctor Blades on either side that are fitted to the Side Obturator, and withstands the friction of the Anilox Cylinder, which is why it is recommendable to grease the piece on the upper edge for better performance before the rubbing of the Anilox cylinder.
